My experience at Tufts Mini Med School was nothing short of unforgettable. Over the course of two weeks, I got a head start in the world of medicine: practicing clinical skills, exploring a wide range of healthcare careers, and gaining insight into what it truly means to work in the medical field through professionals. This program not only deepened my passion for healthcare but also expanded the way I see my future and all the different paths and opportunities it could take.
What made it even more special was the community. I found my people at Tufts–not just in Mini Med School, but also with students from other pre-college programs who were living on campus with us. We learned and grew together, bonded over shared interests, and built friendships that made every moment even more meaningful.
Looking back, I really treasure those early mornings at Dewick, where my friends and I competed to see who could make the best ice cream cone, and the late nights in Miller Hall playing card games and Mafia. It was the perfect balance of learning and fun, and I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better way to spend that part of my summer.
