How Tufts’ Marketing Essentials Program Inspired My Next Steps
This summer, I had the privilege of attending the Pre-College Marketing Essentials program at Tufts University. During the program, we learned the basic principles of marketing, including market research, brand management, and consumer behavior analysis. I think the most impressive thing was watching a real venture accelerator, and Sebastian, our teaching assistant, was one of the speakers. By listening to these business plans, I learned a lot of marketing strategies of real cases, which also provided me with an incentive to think.
In addition, Tufts University's beautiful campus and rich campus activities also added to the experience. My favorite was the line dancing lesson. I met a lot of people who love dancing as much as I do. It was really fun to dance with everyone, even if we didn't know each other at first.
All in all, this preparatory program not only gives me a deeper understanding of marketing, but also provides a clear direction for my future study and career planning. I hope that my experience will be helpful to students who are interested in participating in this project. If you want to learn about marketing, this is definitely a good opportunity you don’t want to miss!
