The Tufts Pre-College Program makes a genuine effort to engage students and take them alongside a unique and fun journey. For me, being able to combine music and engineering is what I knew I wanted to dive into, and in my program, the TAs and teacher not only took me there, but they supported and helped me realize how close I am to my dream. Working in Tufts with other students was so incredibly fun, and I take with me one-of-a-kind moments. Starting with fun and jokes in class, to research and eye-opening projects, Tufts' ability to integrate all kinds of students (it is a very diverse program) allows for students to feel welcome and enticed to try their best!
I totally recommend this program to anyone who isn't sure what they want to study yet, but wants to get an introduction to the endless possibilities. Furthermore, if you are looking for a good time while learning and meeting new people, this program is for you! Not only do we work, but we also are able to participate in awesome activities, such as excursions to Six Flags, flea markets, and movie times. In addition, the Dining Hall provides students with diverse meals so that everyone has an option. From here, I learned just how badly I want to pursue Engineering, and apply to Tufts to participate in their Music Engineering minor.
