Exploring Tufts and Beyond

Going away for the first time ever at a place where everyone is so intelligent felt very daunting. When I stepped on campus for the first time, I was immediately greeted by the welcoming Pre-College staff and a very much needed Kona Ice truck. At Tufts Pre-College, there was never a dull moment. From the first dinner at Dewick dining hall, my table was filled with a group of new faces, all of whom I became great friends with. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I took advantage of the Boston Days and took the T to Faneuil Hall, Newbury Street (where I got pink waffles for dinner - I highly recommend), Prudential, and Assembly Row. For the one weekend I spent on the Tufts campus, I was able to go to Six Flags New England, get crepes at Davis Square, play cards in the Miller hall lounge, and watch my favorite movie with my new friends, and eat popcorn, of course. Tufts Pre-College has allowed me to make lifelong friends, discover new passions, and learn tremendously, and I am so glad I was able to spend 2 weeks at such an amazing place.
